This allows our clients to reduce their energy consumption and their impact on the environment. NIBE also supplies components and solutions for intelligent heating and control for industry and infrastructure.
From its beginnings in the Småland city of Markaryd nearly 70 years ago, NIBE has grown into a global group with 21 000 employees on average and a global presence. From the very start, the company has been driven by a strong culture of entrepreneurship and a passion for responsible business operation. Its success factors are long-term investments in sustainable product development and strategic acquisitions. Combined, these factors have brought about strong, targeted growth, which generated sales of just over SEK 40 billion.
NIBE has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm's Large Cap list under the name NIBE Industrier since 1997, and has had a secondary listing on SIX Swiss Exchange since 2011.
The company has three different business areas: NIBE Climate Solutions manufactures intelligent, energy-efficient indoor comfort solutions for all types of properties. NIBE Element manufactures components and solutions for intelligent heating and control for industry and infrastructure. NIBE Stoves manufactures stoves to stringent design and energy-efficiency specifications.
