Specification Sales Manager – London

Job Title: Specification Sales Manager

Location: London, UK

The Role

This role will be responsible for creating demand for our market leading ranges of Ground Source, Air Source and Exhaust Air Heat Pumps within the designated sales territory.

The person will be responsible for gaining NIBE product specifications within the defined customer segments, cultivating long term relationships and a broad network of contacts. The successful candidate will work alongside National and Regional Sales Managers to actively manage projects through the specification and tender process to fulfilment.

What will you do?

  • Sell and specify heat pump products and associated accessories within the building services consultancy sector.
  • Proactively target clients and projects within the defined customer segments
  • Supported by the Pre-Sales design team, provide proposals for project enquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and develop a continuous pipeline of high value specification projects.
  • Share your knowledge of developing market policies, regulations, and trends to inform sales strategies and future product developments with internal stakeholders.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets and set KPIs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records within the company CRM system.
  • Carrying out CPD presentations, attend exhibitions and networking events when required.

What will you bring?

  • Degree level qualification in relevant engineering or building services discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2B business specification sales role
  • Experience of managing and leading people
  • Good contacts and relationships within the relevant market sectors with key stakeholders
  • Experience of networking and integrating with industry trade bodies and stakeholders to raise awareness of technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant product technologies including heat pumps and heat networks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and CRM packages
  • Full UK Driving Licence
