NB Hero Banner
This new hero banner module is to be used instead of all other types of standard hero banner modules in Sitevision as support for them will be removed by the end of 2022.
Settings
You add the module to the page via the Modules icon (cube) in the tool bar. Enter "NB Hero Banner" in the module search bar and select it to add it to your page. Right-click the module on the page and choose "Settings" to get access to the module settings.
Overlay Content options
- Text *Centered
Main heading and optional subheading are centered horizontally and vertically. - Text *Left
Main heading and optional subheading are left-aligned and centered vertically. - Text *Left + Image *Right
Main heading and optional subheading are left-aligned and Image right aligned. Both vertically centered in banner. - Text *Left + Youtube video *Right
Main heading and optional subheading are left-aligned and Video right aligned. Both vertically centered in banner.
*PLEASE NOTE that for branding and privacy reasons - the coming update of this module will ONLY support Vimeo videos and that a Vimeo Pro plan is needed to be able to brand the video player and customize the video privacy settings.
Sizes
The NB Hero Banner supports two sizes - Large and Small which refers to the height of the banner and is determined by the module settings of "Overlay content". If overlay content consists of only text it's possible to choose between Large or Small. If overlay content text and image or video the banner size defaults to Large.
Color Theme
A selected color theme is required and the choice between Blue or Green is given and will only affect the color of optional use of buttons (see button section below for info).
Background image
The use of a background image and Alt-text is required and supported file formats are .jpg and .png. Recommended width is 1600px and a minimum height of 960px. The image will be vertically and horizontally centered in the banner so try to keep image focus as centered as possible for best optical results.
Overlay Image

This is an optional subheading.
Buttons
The use of buttons is optional. Each added button requires a button text and link. The number of buttons is optional though we recommend no more than two. The choice of internal or external page is given and buttons will use the color of the selected color theme.
